Mother's Day - Sunday 22nd March 2009

- the day when sons and daughters everywhere desperately try to find the

perfect Mother's Day gift to make up for the trauma we put them through as kids.

We don't phone when we should, our bedrooms are a disaster zone, we take a lot

for granted & we only come home when we have a bag of laundry taller than us

Also new into the shop is Michal Negrin. Enter a world which celebrates femininity and Victorian charm. Cherubs, roses, vintage inspired and with stunning details encorporating flowers and crystals re some of the hallmarks of Michal Negrin jewellery.

We continue to stock a big range of ponge silk scarves in a wide range of colours and have some great new scarf designs coming in for Spring .......

New stock arrives in daily and we aim to bring high quality, exciting design-led gifts which are that little bit different across a wide price range. We also offer gift vouchers in a wide range of denominations and a free gift wrapping service to enable your friends and family to enjoy some retail therapy!

African Link's "Show Racism the Red Card" fashion show designed to promote multi-culturalism took place at the Oran Mor, Glasgow. In addition to fabulous African traditional dress, there was bridal wear by the Caroline Collection and all the models wore jewellery from us here at the Pebble Blue Design Company. SENSE SCOTLAND'S ANNUAL SELL OUT VALENTINE CHARITY FASHION SHOW ........

The Pebble Blue Design Company were delighted to support the important work of Sense Scotland by donating a handmade silver, pearl and murano heart necklace for auction at their annual sell out fashion show. The necklace was specifically designed to reflect the valentine theme and our thanks to the mystery high bidder who bid £150.00 for the necklace.

The African Netwrok Fashion and Music Extravaganza

Our collections of handmade jewellery were launched at the African Network's Charity Fashion and Music Extravaganza, which was held at the Oran Mor, Byres Road, Glasgow on Saturday 16th October 2004.

We were delighted to support Khadija Coll of the African Network and work with Michael Mason Marketing, the wonderful Raspberry Ripple boutique of Princes Square, Glasgow (who specialise in stunning contemporary ladies fashions) and the Queen Sheba Collection showcasing African clothing, in this important event to raise funds for initiatives to support multi-culturalism in Scotland.

Supporting the African Network Event were: The Oran Mor, Byres Rd, Audrey Wadsworth of Michael Mason Marketing, Raspberry Ripple Boutique, Princes Square, The Model Team Glasgow, Vidal Sassoon Princes Square, Helena Rubenstein, 21st Century Kilts, Timberland , the Queen Sheba Collection and the Pebble Blue Design Company.

It was a great night with both African and European contemporary fashion and jewellery on full display, wine, canapes, music and a guest appearance from Leo Sayer. The event was previewed in the Scottish Evening Times.

Khadija set up the African Network last year and was a finalist in the Evening Times Business Woman of the Year Awards in recognition of her work on behalf of the African and Caribbean Community in Scotland.

We have produced a gorgeous range of jewelled feather capes. Featured recently in the Scottish Evening Times, these are currently available in deep petrol green/black feathers as worn by Khadija above and a wonderful turquoise (see below).
